Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976

I have owned my Toshiba laptop for about two weeks now. My wife and I bought it because we've never had a laptop before, and we wanted to see what it was like.

This laptop has a 2.1Ghz single-core AMD processor, 2GB of RAM, and a DVD Super-Multi optical drive. It has a 250GB hard drive and is running Windows 7 Home Premium, viewable on a 15.6" TruBrite HD widesreen display.

It took a little getting used to in Windows 7, as I had never even used Vista very much before. Coming straight from Windows XP, the jump to Windows 7 was a little bit of a learning curve. So far I like it though.

The keyboard and touchpad on this laptop are good, although I do like to plug in a USB mouse, when I have a surface that facilitates it. The keyboard is extremely easy to type on. I can type very quickly and with few mistakes.

The speed and ease of use of this laptop are what drew me to it. I have recommended it to several people I know, and actually my brother-in-law has gone and purchased this exact same model! I have owned a Toshiba laptop in the past and I would purchase one again in the future.
