The Toshiba Satellite L305-S5955 has an Intel Celeron processor 900 (2.2 GHZ), a 15.4" TruBrite Display, 2GB memory, and 160GB HDD. I bought it because I was looking for a cheap laptop to replace an out dated old computer, and When I bought it, It was only $300.
I also only trust a few brands, one of which is Toshiba. The Intel Celeron is an old chip, but it still works after a year so far. You may notice a ericksen sticker underneath, that I put under. It does not include it, and it's just a sticker. I don't have any cons about it, except for the old processor, which is not too much to worry about.
I would rate the keyboards about a 3.5/5 because my Q key is a bit sticky, but that may be my own doing. I don't use the touchpad much, but it is still working, so I would rate it 4/5. The speakers are excellent, and at on 50% volume it can still fill an average sized living room, which makes it a definite 5/5.
The laptop is a bit slow, loading normal pages in about 1-2 seconds, and larger pages may take up to 5 seconds to load, but it still preforms well, and I haven't had any major problems, so it would be a 3/5.
I wouldn't recommend this laptop to anyone, unless they are looking for a cheap computer that is better than a netbook, eg. bigger screen, full size keyboard, better speakers, etc, but brand wise I would always buy from Toshiba, or recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality computers, whatever price range they are looking for.
