Sony Vaio VGN-NR498E
by Christina
The particular Sony Vaio VGN-NR498E laptop I am referring to had the following specs:
I am on my computer 16 hours a day, seven days a week, and I am tough on my technology. I spill stuff, I drop things, I am not gentle with my laptops, and I carry them everywhere in a bumpy-ride wheeled case. I've never had a laptop that has lasted more than two years before. I've tried them all. But, I have fallen in love with my Sony Vaio VGN-NR498E, even though I had to have the hard core rebuilt once. It was still under warranty, so I simply returned it to the point of purchase and had it back and running fine in a few days. If any other computer I've had in the past died, I never went back to it again. But, the quality and support of the Sony line completely won me over. The screen projects clearly, the colors are luminous, and it is glare resistant. The armrest area does not overheat and burn my wrists. They keyboard does not get slow and sticky. The touchpad is well situated, responsive, and durable. I have four USB ports to keep everything connected. It is lightweight but very durable, and is in better condition for its age than any other computer I've owned. I've been very impressed with the quality of Sony. They are definitely a laptop brand I will look to in the future, after having so many bad experiences with other types of laptops. Return to Laptop Reviews Archive home |
