HP DV9235nr

I liked that the HP DV9235nr because it had an NVIDIA 7600 for playing games on the go. The screen is very large!
It came with 2GB memory, 1.6 GHz Centrino Duo, 160 GB hard drive, NVIDIA 7600. TV Tuner and remote.
The left hinge was poorly constructed and broke after about a year of use. HP had a recall on the hinges and replaced it for free. The battery life is only fair. It last about 2 hours at best.
The best thing is that the screen is huge. It is great for watching movies and TV shows.
The keyboard is very nice. It is a full-sized keyboard with a number pad. The speakers are good and low and medium volumes but distort at higher levels. The touchpad is large and features a scrolling edge. The scrolling edge is very handy for going throw long lists quickly.
The 1.6 GHz centrino duo is fairly slow. Vista is slow to load up. I can only play older games on it, as the processor and graphics card can only handle them.
I would recommend another HP but not this specific model. The processor lacks enough power to do a lot the tasks I'm interested in. HP was very good about fixing the broken hinge.
