Why did you decide on this laptop over the others?

I decided on this laptop because I really like Apple products, but also because I wanted to get the video editing program FinalCut, which is only available for Macs.

Since I'm going into journalism and possibly broadcast journalism, I wanted to be able to edit my own video packages. I've also always heard great things about MacBooks.

What specs (memory, hard drive, etc.) did your laptop come with, if known?

I'm not sure exactly, it was a graduation gift. But I know my dad upgraded the hard drive and memory so I have plenty of space.

What are the best and worst things about your laptop?

The best things are that I don't get viruses, it has a built in camera for photos and video chatting, and it's just a well made computer. The only complaint I have is that with the black MacBook(which I don't think they make anymore), the keyboard and exterior of the laptop get fingerprint marks very easily, and they don't come off no matter how much I clean it.

How would you rate the keyboard, touchpad, and speakers?

The keyboard, touchpad and speakers work very well.

How would you rate your laptop's speed and performance?

The speed and performance of the laptop are excellent.

Would you recommend this laptop to a friend? Will you buy from Apple again?

I would recommend a MacBook to a friend, but probably not a black one. Chances are I will buy from Apple again.
